Community campaign settings

A practical reference to the settings you'll see when creating or editing a Community campaign.

New to the Community Tool? Start with the Quick Start Guide to set up and review your first campaign.

01

Basics

Identify your campaign and its Community source.

Name
An internal label for your campaign. Recommended pattern: product_community_account_test_v1. Keep names consistent so experiments and revisions stay organized.
Community URL
The full X Community link. Check the Community’s Latest feed for posting activity and relevance before creating the campaign.

02

Targeting

Choose which posts and profiles the campaign should consider.

Exclude based in
Excludes locations you select. Useful for markets outside your audience or product availability.
Exclude topics
Avoid unwanted subject areas such as politics, crypto, sex, drugs, religion, or gambling. Select only the topics relevant to your brand boundaries.
Followers · Min and Max
The allowed range of follower counts for post authors.
Following · Min and Max
The allowed range of accounts the author follows.
Oldest allowed date
How far back a post can be and remain eligible. Two weeks is a practical starting point; adjust to Community activity.
ID verified
When enabled, applies an ID-verification requirement to author selection.
Blue verified
When enabled, applies an X blue-check requirement to author selection.

03

Engagement

Define campaign actions, constraints, and reply content.

Engagement actions
Reply is always on; Like and Follow can be additionally enabled.
Max engagements same author
Limits the number of posts the campaign engages with from the same author. Check the per-author limit before increasing campaign volume.
Daily limit
The campaign-level daily engagement ceiling. This does not increase your account-level allowance.
Reply prompt · Preset / Name / Instruction
Choose a preset describing how the model should write replies. Adapt it to your voice and focus on context-aware responses.
Product CTA · Preset / Variants / Frequency
Optional product promotion in selected replies. Visible frequency options: 10%, 30%, 50%, 70%, and 100%.
Follow CTA
Optional account-growth CTA, separate from product promotion. Use it for natural connection prompts when relevant.

Preset warning: The interface states that edits apply to every campaign using a preset. Be careful when editing a shared Reply prompt or Product CTA preset.

04

Mode

Decide how suggested actions get reviewed.

Manual
Suggested posts and replies appear in the Review Queue for your approval or skip decision.
Auto
Coming soon. Currently unavailable for campaign setup.

05

Review & queue

Confirm settings and process suggested actions.

Review / Save campaign
Check the full campaign summary and save your configuration.
Review Queue
Examine source posts and generated replies; edit, Approve, Skip, or open the source in X. More offers extra controls.
Queue metrics
Total actions, Completed actions, and Completed share show queue progress, not necessarily a daily total.
